A former successful retail business owner for twenty years in both Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Whitefish, Montana Craig Prather understands the value of long term client relationships.

At a very early age, Craig has been immersed in the mountain lifestyle, enriching his life by daily doses of fly-fishing, skiing, cycling, climbing and raising his two boys with his wife, Dacia. After his family left southern California in the 80’s for the more slower paced “small town” of Boise, Idaho, Craig knew that he needed to be even closer to the peaks that provided him with the fun-filled gravity sports. After school he left for the tiny mountain town of McCall, Idaho were he worked in a ski/bike shop and started cultivating his mountain culture experience. After a few years and needing a younger crowd to fuel his adrenaline activities, he found his way to Jackson Hole where he worked at a local mountaineering shop in the winter and a bike shop in the summer. As time passed, Craig quickly realized he needed to settle down so he decided to buy the local bike shop he’d been working in. Years later he met his wife, a Montana native and school teacher and they decided that a new adventure needed to unfold. After visiting her family in Kalispell, Montana they realized Whitefish was a perfect place to start a family and a new bicycle shop. Subsequently, eleven years of success in the bike/ski business in downtown Whitefish Craig was ready to hang up his wheels and rekindle his passion for fly-fishing and sold his shop. Nevertheless, the need to return to a client based service, Craig felt the time was right to get involved and be a part of helping others achieve their dreams of mountain living.

Craig’s time is always spent chasing his kids, fly-fishing, mountain and road cycling, climbing mountains, skiing or tying flies with his boys at the Whitefish farmers market.
