RE/MAX llc co-founder and CEO, Dave Liniger has published an open letter to President Obama and Governor Romney, asking them to consider housing policies that will help the economy recover.

Mr. Liniger delves into the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act of 2007, and discusses the idea of a tax debt forgiveness program that can help troubled homeowners remain in their homes as the economy recovers.  He also addresses the need to relax the over-strict lending requirements to help consumers purchase homes.
